Hindi or Marathi
This is a basic language and orientation training program for people coming to India for a longer period of time

The course works as follows: Each day we cover one hour of language learning and one to two hours on giving the language a cultural context. This means that when we teach the vocabulary of a theme of for instance “A Visit”, we will also give additional information on Indian extended families, gender issues and other relational practices. And we will arrange a visit to an Indian family. This because we believe that communication and culture go hand in hand. So if one wants to learn the language one should also get knowledge about the cultural context of that language in order to avoid becoming a “fluent fool”.
